Welcome to a terrific 2020-2021 school year. I am thrilled to welcome this school year at Derby Middle School as your Assistant Principal! It is my belief that every student at Derby Middle School will have a rewarding and successful experience through the amazing relationships and partnerships that we will create together.
In these critical years of their development, it is crucial that students are supported while they learn important life skills such as communicating appropriately, conflict resolution, and self-advocacy. I am here alongside you to help your child develop these skills and so much more. I strongly believe that “it takes a village to raise a child” and take pleasure in involving you in this process. I look forward to continuing to work together to help your child develop into a confident and successful young adult.
It has been a privilege and honor to be a part of this school community for the last 16 years. It is truly a place where families, teachers, and students care for each other and strive for positive relationships that support academic and social growth.
